IRATA Certification
Upon successful completion, participants will receive certification from the International Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA), a globally recognised body. This certification opens doors to opportunities in the rope access industry worldwide, allowing you to pursue rewarding careers in various sectors.
IRATA rope access technicians work under a level system. Levels are progressed in accordance with logged hours and time. As an initial successful candidate, you will be provided with an IRATA log book and an IRATA certification card. Validity of certification is for three years at all levels and technicians must undergo level retraining and assessment with an independent assessor to maintain their certification. To upgrade, technicians must have current certification validity, verified logged hours and requisite experience at their current IRATA level. Rope access technicians who have not engaged in rope access work for six months or more shall attend a refresher training before returning to rope access works.
