Candidate Requirements

Before booking a course with us, it’s essential to ensure that you meet the minimum requirements as outlined below. These requirements are put in place to ensure your safety and the effectiveness of the training program. By verifying that you meet these criteria before booking, you can guarantee a smooth and successful learning experience. - Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Have an aptitude and healthy respect for heights.
- Be physically fit and unaffected by any disability or medical condition that may prevent them from working safely, particularly in extreme working environments (including heat, cold, and other inclement weather).
- Be sensible, safe and be able to show an appropriate level or responsibility and self-reliance.
- Be prepared to undergo regular medical assessments by their respective employees to secure work.
- Be fluent in English. Our training courses are group courses conducted in English. We welcome participants from all nationalities and cultures. Although some of our trainers are fluent in other languages, due to high course content and safety, participants MUST be fluent in English.
All candidates MUST complete a medical declaration prior to commencement of the course and attain medical clearance where required.
Tasman Rope Access reserve the right to exclude any candidate from training if they have concerns regarding the candidate’s health, fitness or attitude to safety during training.
