TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Below are the terms and conditions that govern your enrollment and participation in the IRATA Rope Access training course with TRA. By enrolling in our courses, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you have any questions or need further clarification on any aspect of our policies, please do not hesitate to contact us at iratatraining@tasmanropeaccess.com.
COURSE FEES
IRATA Courses
The full course fee must be paid before the course start date.
CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS AND TRANSFERS
Requests
Submit all cancellation, refund, or date change requests in writing to iratatraining@tasmanropeaccess.com. for further discussion, contact Tasman Rope Access directly.
Non-Assessment
If you miss your assessment, an alternate date may be offered subject to a resit fee.
MEDICAL CANCELLATIONS
Within 7 Days
If you need to cancel due to medical reasons within 7 days of the course start date, provide proof of your medical condition. You will be rescheduled to a future date at no additional training cost. A resit fee will apply for administrative and assessment expenses.
CANCELLATIONS MORE THAN 7 WORKING DAYS DAYS BEFORE COMMENCEMENT
Options
For cancellations more than 7 working days before the course start date, choose:

- A full refund, or
- Transfer to a different course date.
CANCELLATIONS 7 WORKING DAYS OR LESS BEFORE COMMENCEMENT
No Refunds or Transfers
Cancellations within 7 working days of the course start date will not receive refunds or transfers. Tasman Rope Access is not responsible for changes in personal or work circumstances within this period.
TRANSFERS
Request Procedure
Submit transfer requests in writing to iratatraining@tasmanropeaccess.com at least 7 working days before the course start date.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
Course Changes
Tasman Rope Access reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule courses due to low enrolments or unforeseen circumstances. Refunds will be processed within 30 days where applicable.
Information Accuracy
Information provided is accurate at the time of publication but may change. Tasman Rope Access may adjust course fees, dates, content, or facilitators as needed.
Recordings
Course sessions may be recorded for quality assurance and training purposes. Notify your trainer if you prefer not to be included in these recordings.
LATE POLICY
Timeliness
Courses require 30 hours of training over four days. Arrive on time. Late arrivals (more than one hour after the course starts) cannot join the course for that week. Transferring to another course will incur an additional cost of $850.
WITHDRAWAL OR NON-ATTENDANCE
Forfeiture
Full course fees are forfeited if you withdraw, do not attend, or fail to complete the required training hours. This applies to all reasons for non-attendance, including medical issues, physical demands, scheduling conflicts, and other circumstances.
